Midnight’s Angel is the story of seventeen-year-old Sam, an imaginatively artistic, impassioned, yet reckless escapist, whose devoured by the guilt that comes from her brother, Jaden, going missing. For Sam, there’s only two options: suppress the guilt with a hallucinogenic drug or bury it by finding her brother.
This story, set in a San Diegan suburb during the early 2000’s, is about 44,700 words written in the tone of a dark modern fantasy incorporating the mythology of the Taínos, the indigenous peoples of Puerto Rico.
